Fact of the Day:  On this date in 1908, Henry Ford’s first Model T rolled off the assembly line.  Ford refined and perfected the assembly line which helped mass produce these vehicles.  Early on, every 93 minutes a Model T would roll off and in just a few years, every 24 seconds a finished Model T would come off the line.  This drove down costs in owning a car.  An aspect that helped with this amazing pace was Ford’s minimization of color.  His famous quote was: “You can have any color car you would like as long as it is black.”

Fact of the Day:   Happy Friday and we continue our wacky laws series in the western state of California.  In Baldwin Park, CA, no one is allowed to ride a bike in a swimming pool.  In Blythe, CA, you are not allowed to wear cowboy boots unless you already own at least two cows.  In Burlingame, it is illegal to spit except on a baseball diamond.  And lastly, you cannot cry on the witness stand or sell a mouse trap without a hunting license.
