Girls’ Volleyball: All three teams won in two sets last night at Home Vs. Donovan! Great job! Today: 7th Grade Practice @ 3:30-5:00 pm. 8th Grade County Tournament Game at Watseka Vs. Donovan. Game time is 5:30, but the bus will leave at 4:00 pm to go watch the first game.
Wrestling: Congrats on two more wins last night! The team improves to 13-5! Home meet starting at 4:30 pm at Nash Vs. Bradley Central & Wilmington and the 8th Graders will be recognized! Good Luck Grapplers :)
Track: There will be a meeting on Thursday for any students interested in joining the IWMS track team. The meeting will take place in the library during Exploratory. Mr. Kimmel’s Exploratory class will go to Mr. Boyd’s room.
Momence Math Contest: Good luck to all three of our teams tonight at Momence Math Contest! Participants will be dismissed from 5th hour classes at 2:30 pm today.
Scholastic Bowl: No Practice Today. Next Practice: THURSDAY from 3:30-4:30 pm.
After-school Art Club: 7th Grade Art Club will meet again on Tuesday February 17 3:30-4:30 pm with Mrs. Sattler!
Free Movie Onarga Theater: 6th-12th grade students are invited to a FREE Teen Movie Night on Sunday, February 15th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Onarga Theater. The movie is Elemental. Doors will open at 6:30pm. This event is being hosted by Juvenile Justice and the Iroquois County Sheriff's Department.
Student Council: Student Council is selling tickets through Thursday for the Crumble cookie raffle. Each grade level will have 4 winners that will be picked on Friday. Student council members will be around during exploratory to sell. Cost is $2 per ticket or $5 for 3 tickets.
Music Fundraiser: The music donut pickup will be at the high school from 3:30-5:30 on Tuesday Feb. 17th.

Wrestling: Meet today at GCMS starting at 4:30 pm. The Nash bus will pick up our IW wrestlers on the way to GC. You will be dismissed from 5th hour classes at 3:05 pm and then wait for the Nash bus in our gym lobby.

Fact of the Day: Here are some cool Super Bowl facts: There have only been two overtime games in the Super Bowl. The most expensive Super Bowl tickets came last year in 2024. Tickets last year never went below $8700 a ticket. Referees, based on experience, can make between $30,000 - $50,000 for officiating the BIG GAME. Alicia Keys hold the record for the longest Super Bowl national anthem at 2 minutes and 35 seconds.

Our team went 4-1 on the day, but lost a tie breaker to PBL, who finished in 1st. Ethan Martinek led the Raiders with an amazing 350 toss-up points, followed by Ryker Cobb (80), & Iris Clendenen (70) Today: No Practice
