Scholastic Bowl: Our varsity team improved their season record to 9-1 and avenged an early season loss with an impressive 290-210 over rival PBL! Iris Clendenen and Ethan Martinek led the Raiders with 40 points each in toss up questions! Great job to the entire squad! Our JV fell 150-250. Today: No Practice!
Girls’ Volleyball: Practice from 3:30-5:00 pm today! On Monday, our girls will play Monticello at 6:00 pm in Forrest in the IESA Sectional! Make plans to go support our Lady Raiders on Monday night in their quest for State!!
Wrestling: The IESA State Tournament starts today at NIU. Good luck to the IW/Nash Wrestlers that qualified!
Cinderella: Great job to all of our IW students on the opening night of Cinderella! The musical continues tonight and Saturday at 7:00 pm at IWHS. Admission is $5 for students and $10 for adults! Go check it out!
Music Students of the Week: The music department is continuing to highlight our stand out musicians during the month of March. Our Music Students of the Week for this week are Ismar Patlan and Corbin Rosenboom. Congratulations to both of you!

Congrats to our 8th grade volleyball team and coaching staff for winning the Pontiac Class 3A Regional! Our Lady Raiders defeated Nash in the semifinals and PBL in the championship to win our first volleyball Regional since 2012!
Next Up: Sectionals at Forrest on Monday March 16 at 6:00 pm! We will play St. Joseph or Monticello!
Girls’ Volleyball: Congratulations to our 8th grade team and coaching staff on winning the Class 3A IESA Regional Championship last night at Pontiac! Our Lady Raiders improved their record to 18-5 on the season with a three set win over Clifton Nash in the semifinals, and then another three set win over PBL for the title! It is the first eighth grade Regional championship since 2012! Next Up: IESA Sectional Championship at Forrest on Monday March 16 at 6:00 pm. We will face the winner of the St. Joseph/Monticello game which is being played tonight.

Fact of the Day: Here are some quick facts about the last time that the Lady Raiders won a Regional; Back in 2012, gas was $3.40 a gallon (some things never change), a dozen eggs cost $1.41, The president was Barack Obama, the Avengers was the top grossing movie of that year, and on television, Breaking Bad, the Walking Dead and American Idol reigned while a show called The Apprentice was finishing up its final season with Donald Trump acting as host.

Girls’ Volleyball: Regional semi-final game tonight Vs. Clifton Nash at Pontiac. The game starts at 4:30 and the bus will leave at 3:00 pm. VB Players will be dismissed from 5th hour classes at 2:50 pm. If the Lady Raiders win at 4:30, they will play Watseka or PBL for the Regional championship around 6:30 pm! Good Luck Tonight Girls!

Scholastic Bowl: The varsity Raiders brought home another win (340-90) to improve their record to 8-1! The JV fell short 130-200 at Donovan last night. Today: No Practice.

Music In Our Schools Month: Did you know that March is Music In Our Schools Month? This month, we celebrate all of the rockstar student musicians we have in our District! The Music Department is sponsoring the “Music Student of the Week” for band and choir. This week our award recipients are Jason Gutierrez and Shelby Chamness. Congratulations to both of you! Keep up the good work!
