Boys’ Basketball:   Open gym TOMORROW MORNING from 6:15 to 7:45 am!   There are information sheets about the upcoming season in the lunch room.   PICK ONE UP! 

Girls’ Basketball:    Our 7th grade team defeated Bishop Mac while the 8th graders lost last night at home.     Today:   Practice from 3:45-5:00 pm at IWMS.  Players will go home after school due to the early dismissal and then come back for practice.

After-school Art Club:   8th grade after-school art club will continue on Tuesday October 21!

Cross Country:  Tobias Harkins set a PR and finished in 22nd place at the IESA Cross Country Sectional at St. Joseph on Saturday. However, he came up a little short of advancing to the State Meet.   Thanks to all of our cross country runners for your hard work and dedication to the team this season!

Girls’ Basketball:    7th and 8th Grade Home Games Vs. Bishop McNamara starting at 5:30 pm!    7th Grade team needs to go home and arrive back at school by 4:45 pm for your game.  8th graders need to arrive by 5:30 pm.  (There is no 6th grade game tonight) Tonight’s Theme is White Out!!!

Fact of the Day:  Happy Friday to you all!!!  We head to the east coast to the small state of Connecticut:  A local ordinance in Atwoodville prohibits people from playing Scrabble while waiting for a politician to speak.  A pickle is not officially a pickle unless it bounces.  In Bloomfield, it is illegal to eat in your car.  Also, you may not educate dogs.

Cross Country:  Practice from 3:30-5:00 pm at IWHS only for those runners competing in Sectionals on Saturday!  Also… we found out yesterday that along with Tobias………Cameron, Brisa, and Autumn ALL HAD PR’s on Tuesday at Paxton!   Great job to the entire team!

Raider Rowdies:   Just like our participating athletes, in order to attend our athletic home games, student FANS need to be passing all IWMS classes.   If you have an F in any class, please stay home until you have raised your grades to passing or higher!  The ticket taker will have a list each night, so please check your grades before coming!
