Boys’ Basketball: 7th Grade Lost to Milford last night. TONIGHT: 7th Grade: Watch Film after school until 4:30 and then go to the 8th Grade Game. 8th Grade: will watch film at 4:45 pm. County Tournament Vs. Nash at Watseka. Game time is 6:30. Bus Time is 5:15.
Girls’ Volleyball: The 7th grade team lost in two, while the 8th graders opened with a two set win over GCMS. Tonight: Practice from 3:30-5:30 pm!
Cheerleading: 8th Grade County Tournament Game Tonight. Bus Time: 5:15 pm
Scholastic Bowl: Practice TONIGHT, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30- 4:30 pm!
Club 40 Permission Slips: Students who qualified for the Club 40 trip will get a permission slip at lunch today! You must get the permission slip signed and bring your money to the office ASAP if you plan to attend.
National Hat Day: Thursday is National Hat Day! You may donate $1 to our Student Council to break the dress code and wear a hat at school. (This along with attending a GVB game, would also count for a 3Q Raider Recipe qualification).
After-school Art Club: 8th grade Art Club will continue TODAY (January 13)! 3:30-4:30 pm with Mrs. Sattler!

Congrats to our cheer team for qualifiying to ICCA State in 2026! Great job! The team finished in 16th place out of 21 teams.

Boys’ Basketball: 7th Grade: County Tournament at Nash Vs. Milford. Players will stay after school. Bus time is 5:30 pm. 8th Grade: Great win on 8th Grade Day! Practice from 3:30-5:00 pm and then you can go support the 7th grade team at Nash!
Girls’ Volleyball: 7th & 8th Grade Home Games Vs GCMS starting at 5:30 pm. Good Luck in your season opener ladies!
Cheerleading: Coach Pankey said the squad did very well yesterday at the ICCA State Competition! Our team ended up finishing 16th out of 21 teams and represented our school very well all season!
Scholastic Bowl: Week of January 12: Scholastic Bowl Practice Tuesday - Thursday this week. After school till 4:30.

Boys’ Basketball: 7th & 8th Grade Practice was from 6:15 to 7:45 am this morning. Saturday: Home Games Vs. Bishop Mac at 10:00 am. It will be "8th grade day" for our 15 eighth graders!
Girls’ Volleyball: Practice after school from 3:30-5:30 pm! Saturday: Practice from 8:00 to 9:30 am at IWHS!
Cheerleading: Practice from 5:30-7:30 pm! Saturday: 8th Grade Day Vs. Bishop Mac at 10:00 am. Good Luck Ladies! Sunday: Best of luck at the State Competition!

All students were sent an email from Mr. Kimmel this morning about Scholastic Bowl…please check your email and complete the survey today if you are interested in SB!
2Q Locker Rocker: Mr. Kimmel will be showing each student your Locker Rocker totals today during PE classes. Hopefully you made Club 40! Details for the Club 40 incentive trip will be coming out soon!
Honor Roll Lists: Congratulations to all of our students who achieved Honor Roll, High Honor Roll, or Straight A status! Posters are now up around the school and posted online! Also, congrats to the 11 sixth graders, 11 seventh graders, and 18 eighth graders who achieved perfect attendance! 40 students total!
