Due to the cold weather, today is an e-learning day.

Students should do the following:

1. Check weekly maps and Google classrooms for each class. Assignments will be posted by 9:00 am.

2. Check their school email and email your teachers if you have any questions.

3. All assignments for today are due by the end of the school day on Wednesday January 22.

**Announcements will be made about the status of the MS volleyball and basketball games by early afternoon. Coaches will send out a Remind message to players/parents at that time. **

Girls’ Volleyball:  The 7th grade Raiders defeated the Bunnies last night, while the 8th grade lost.    Today: 8th Grade Practice from 3:30-5:15 pm.   6th and 7th Grade: OFF 

Boys’ Basketball:  Today:  OFF          Saturday Practice:  8:00-10:00 am for 7th and 8th.   6th:  10-11:30 am! 

Wrestling: Practice today from 4:00-6:00 pm at Nash. 

Scholastic Bowl:    No Practice today.  

Art Club:    8th Grade Art Club will meet again TUESDAY JAN. 21   after school until 4:30 pm.   Come check it out!   

Raider Recipe:   The 2nd Quarter Dodgeball Event will take place TODAY during PE classes.   All students will report to PE for attendance.   Then Ms. Milkowski will take students to the library that didn’t qualify for the event. 

7th Grade Math Team:  No Practice today due to the Dodgeball Event. 

Mr. Kimmel’s Advisory Classes:   Will report to the upper gym bleachers today.  Please bring a pen or pencil!   

No Phones at Breakfast:   Students:   You ARE NOT allowed to have your cell phones out during breakfast even though you haven’t gone up to your lockers yet.  Please meet these expectations, or offenders will not meet the goal for the 3rd Quarter Raider Recipe and have to turn in their phone daily.

Fact of the Day:  Here are some wacky laws from way down yonder in Mississippi:  In Temperance, MS you cannot walk a dog down the street unless it is wearing a diaper.  It is illegal, in Temperance, MS to drive your car/truck around the town square more than 100 times (wonder who is counting?).  And, in Tylertown, MS it is unlawful to shave in the center of Main Street (has to be a great story there!!!).  **

Girls’ Volleyball:  7th and 8th Grade:  Home Games Vs. Fisher tonight starting at 5:00 pm.    The student section theme is “Tropical”   Students: Make sure to sign when you arrive to earn your Locker Rocker points! 

Boys’ Basketball:  The 7th grade team lost to Watseka in the 7th grade county championship game.   Today:  7th and 8th Grade Practice from 3:30-4:30 pm.   

Wrestling: Home Meet at Nash Today Vs. GCMS and Kankakee.   Wrestlers will head to Nash right after school gets out.  The first match starts at 4:30 pm.  

Scholastic Bowl:    Practice today from 3:30-4:30 pm.
