Girls’ Volleyball: The 8th grade team defeated PC last night to advance in the TCC Tournament! Today: 6th: OFF 7th & 8th Grade: Practice from 3:30-5:00 pm Saturday: 8th Grade TCC Semi-Finals & Finals at PC starting at 12:30 pm. Bus time: 11:15 am
Wrestling: PC won the team score last night, but great job to all of our IW wrestlers in our home meet last night! Tonight: Practice from 4:00 to 5:45 pm at Nash!
Boys’ Basketball: Uniforms are still needed from these players: 6th: Miles, Maddox, Miguel, Jacob, Kolby, & Chris 7th: Isaiah, Simon, Corbin, Koen, Archer, Efren, & Kolby. 8th: Jax & Korbin
Scholastic Bowl: No Practice Today!
Club 40: The trip is TODAY! Bring your permission slips to the office now if you still need to! The bus will leave at 10:30 am and an announcement will be made when students need to report to the gym lobby. Students who didn’t qualify will have a regular schedule and school day.

Free Movie Onarga Theater: 6th-12th grade students are invited to a FREE Teen Movie Night on Sunday, February 15th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Onarga Theater. The movie is Elemental. Doors will open at 6:30pm. This event is being hosted by Juvenile Justice and the Iroquois County Sheriff's Department.

Girls’ Volleyball: Both teams lost in two sets last night at Bishop Mac. Tonight: 7th Grade TCC Tourney at Prairie Central. Game time is 7:30 pm. Bus Time: 6:15 pm. 8th Grade: Practice until 4:45 and then players can stay and watch the HS GBB game in Onarga until the 7th grade bus time!
Wrestling: Tonight: Practice from 4:00 to 5:45 pm.
Boys’ Basketball: 6th Grade Team Pizza Party will be tonight from 4:00-5:30 pm.

Fact of the Day: Did you know that forecasting the winter weather with a ground hog started 139 years ago. In 1887, the newspaper in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania boasted that a ground hog named Phil could predict the weather. If he saw his shadow, 6 more weeks of winter are expected. However, if he does not see a shadow, an early spring is on the way. Statistically, Phil has seen a shadow 80% of the time. Today, at 7:30AM eastern time (6:30AM our time), Punxsutawney Phil did see his shadow…therefore, six more weeks of winter.SORRY!!!
